I am an experienced, compassionate and professional Clinical Psychologist with a long background in working with adults struggling with psychological difficulties. Since qualifying, I have worked extensively within NHS adult mental health services, supporting people experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties and levels of emotional distress.
I am registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Association of Clinical Psychologists UK (ACP). My work is grounded in high-quality psychological assessment and formulation, allowing therapy to be carefully tailored to each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Throughout much of my NHS career, I have worked with people experiencing high levels of emotional distress and psychological trauma. I aim to offer a calm, compassionate, and collaborative space where we can make sense of difficulties together and work towards meaningful and lasting change. My approach is thoughtful and integrative, always guided by what feels most helpful and appropriate for you.
