About Me

A Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years' experience.

Helping individuals, couples and families navigate life's most difficult experiences with compassionate, evidence-based psychological care.

Over 15 years supporting people through life's most challenging moments.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported adults experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties, including trauma, complex emotional needs and homelessness.

My NHS experience has included inpatient services, developing a psychology service for people experiencing homelessness, and leading psychology within a specialist service for people with complex emotional needs and personality difficulties. I’ve also provided clinical supervision and supported teams to develop psychologically informed ways of working.

My practice is shaped by extensive post-qualification training and a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I tailor therapy to the individual, drawing on the approach that feels most appropriate to their needs.

My Practice

Why Private Practice?

After many fulfilling years working within the NHS, I chose to establish Beverley Psychology in 2025.

Working independently allows me to focus on what matters most—providing thoughtful, personalised therapy without the constraints that can sometimes exist within larger services.

It's enabled me to spend more time understanding each person's unique experiences and tailor therapy around what matters most to them.
